Marigot feels sleepy compared with Gustavia or Saint-Jean, and that's precisely the point — you're a four-minute drive from a local market, ten minutes from the airport, and a fifteen-minute walk down to Grand Cul-de-Sac beach, but the villa itself is buffered by garden and hillside. Ask the concierge to arrange a boat pickup from the lagoon side rather than driving to Gustavia; it turns a routine dinner reservation into the best part of the evening.
