The Experience
Opened in 2024 as an extension of the Sibuet family's Gyp Sea hotel (perched above Flamand Bay on the old François Plantation site), the beach houses trade the main property's hilltop calm for front-row Saint-Jean action. Each of the four cottages leans bohemian-tropical: whitewashed walls, natural woods, sun-faded blues and coral, private gardens, and a plunge pool that opens straight to the sand. Sizes run from the intimate one-bedroom Sunset Corail (700 sq ft) up to the three-bedroom Wild Banana and Coco Mango (1,614 sq ft), with the two-bedroom Bohemian Blue in between. A private butler, daily housekeeping, and breakfast are baked in; a private chef, Pure Altitude spa treatments, yoga sessions on the sand, and boat-day logistics are all a text away. The vibe is house-party-with-a-concierge — you get the run of your own beach cottage, but the beach club, its bar, and the hotel's full service team are handling the details.
What to Try
Book the beach club sunloungers for the morning (they're steps from your door), then have the butler set up breakfast on your terrace before the beach fills in. In the afternoon, request a private chef dinner in-house one night and go big at neighboring Saint-Jean spots the next — the whole point of this location is that you can swing both ways. Add on a Pure Altitude in-villa massage after a long boat day. If you're in Wild Banana or Coco Mango, use the full three-bedroom footprint for a small-group trip; if it's a couple, Sunset Corail is the sweet spot for beachfront intimacy without villa-scale overhead.

Split your days: mornings at your Saint-Jean cottage for the buzz and swim-up beach club energy, late afternoons up at the hillside pool for the sunset over Flamand — it's two completely different St Barth vibes on one reservation. Also, ask the butler about timing your terrace lunches with the famously low airport approach just overhead — it's one of the best free shows on the island.
